Daddy Dance

Thomas does a funny little "dance" when he sees Chris. He waves his arms and shakes his legs. In fact if he even hears Chris' voice his eyes will practically roll to the back of his head to find him. I have to ask Chris to leave the room and be quiet when Thomas is nursing because Thomas becomes so preoccupied trying to find or watch Chris that he completely gives up nursing. And then he gets frustrated that he is hungry and can't find his Daddy. I can tell they are going to be great friends.

It just keeps getting better!

As Thomas get older and more mature he has become convinced that he his an aquatic being. I have thought many times of giving him several baths a day just because I know he likes it so much. He can lay in warm water and look out the kitchen window, while someone who loves him gives him a sponge bath with wonderfully scented soaps. Now who wouldn't like that?

Mimi comes for a visit

Thomas' grandma, Mimi, came for a visit the first week of December. Even though the weather was not the greatest; we had a great time hanging at the house and playing with Thomas. He was just as happy to have undivided attention from everyone.

Off to the Ballet

Chris took me to see the Nutcracker for Christmas. This was especially thoughtful because he e-mailed me a lot while I was practicing my Nutcracker performance in Uganda, Africa. (Yes that is right. I was a Snowflake in Africa.)

Goofing around with Isaac

Thomas and Theo

Just in case anyone is confused as to who is who. Thomas is on the left and Theo Guess is on the right. Thomas was sporting his double chin look for Turkey day.

Sit up strait

Stuart, Mom made this sweater for you when you were Thomas' age.
