Lazy Sunday
The yellow floaty next to Andrew is now my favorite pregnancy item. I jumped for joy (which turned into a title wave) when I managed to lay on my belly. What a relief!

Garden Shade Cover
For more information about extending growing seasons for various crops read Square Foot Gardening. I have been really impressed with the methods he uses. They are simple and easy. Any one with even a small space and desire to see things grow will greatly benefit from this book.
Let it grow

The Garden is in full swing and I have already harvested and re-planted in some spots. I love this long growing season in the south.
Here's what we have: Tomatoes, Zucchini, Squash, Cantaloupe, peppers, Eggplant, Lettuce, Radishes, Beans, and some herbs. If anyone is interested in starting there own garden a great book to read is Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew. I will be using his planting methods next year.

A Big Surprise
Chris wins the greatest husband of the year award. Our kitchen remodeling project has been lagging on and on and my ever expanding belly was really starting to hinder me from doing dishes in our tub.
Well when I came home from a visit to Colorado (my brother graduated from Colorado University) He had the whole thing totally done and CLEANED UP. Instead of a tub full of dirty dishes, a kitchen in our dinning room and piles of laundry. I came home to a clean house and a new kitchen. With flowers and a note on the kitchen table to boot! It brought tears to my eyes. Chris you are amazing.
He did all this while he was on a ward month.
