Merry Christmas to you all.

Our very loving neighbor took Chris and I out to see The Singing Christmas Tree performace. Mrs. Haliburton just loves to go and we were so happy she wanted to share it with us.

Eggs, Eggs and more Eggs!!!

The chiks are finally laying eggs. Chris was the one to find one first and we were both so excited.

Yippeee now we don't have to by eggs at the grocery store!

Guess visit and Thanksgiving

A whole new mattress

As many of you might know, particularly his old roommates, Chris likes a stiff bed. In fact he prefers the floor. So to solve an on-going debate about how stiff a mattress should be we decided to get a board to put in between the box spring and the mattress. Here are some pictures from that.

We did it!!!!!

We did it. The car is payed off. NO MORE CAR PAYMENTS! Yippee!!!!!! We were so excited Chris put the electronic payment on our tv so we could pay it on the big screen.

Happy Holidays!

Well the Christmas lights are up. Or as I am calling them the holiday lights as I just can't quite get into Christmas before Thanksgiving. Chris has already put on the Christmas music and now the lights. I just can't help but get in the holiday spirit. It will be wonderful our first Christmas together.

The chickens are hard at work scratching and pecking and preparing our soil for some lush grass. We can hardly wait for the spring so we can plant the grass seeds. But when will we have eggs. Come on girls get busy!

We ended our holiday with a bang or rather with a Lifechangers learning center. My lovely parents come down for the learning center as well. It was so much fun to see old friendships rekindled and new ones made. We love you all so much and can't wait to do it agian.

Chris and I had a great week hiking around Tennessee and visiting some friends and family.

Chis and Cas Noris had some particularly interesting discussions about the coming elections.

We love our icecream maker! Thanks Horace family. We are still looking for a great fat free recipe though. Any one know of a good one.

We have been getting the yard ready for grass seed and some minor landscaping. Chris spent one of his preccious days off removing the concreet borders all over our yard. Anyone want a pile of concreet chunks?

Eric and Misha came to visit us in October. We had a blast! Come back anytime and bring more of the family. We love you guys.

We visited Louisville, KY recently for Chris' brother Andrew's wedding. It was beautiful. While we were there we found the coolest hotel. No, we did not stay there but hope to the next time we have the chance. It was a museum hotel. What a cool fusion! They had a limo with red rhinestones all over it and many galleries with red penguins all over.

Flying Squirrels

Through a series of events Chris and I are now the proud foster parents of three baby flying squirrels. They are the cutest things ever. I feed them puppy milk every few hours out of a three ml. syringe, and keep them warm by a heating blanket.

This is the first of hopefully many wildlife that will be rehabilitated in our little midtown home.
